Profile:
I'm a chill guy from Connecticut/Maryland who likes to wear sandals year round (one time I got frostbite- so now I'm a bit more careful). I used to run track (hurdles and long sprints) freshman year and quit sophomore year to pursue other interests (music stuff mostly). I now only run for enjoyment and staying in shape. Marathoning has become a recent interest of mine, and my plan is to qualify for the Boston Marathon this year, so if anyone needs a training partner this fall/winter, I'm good to go. Academically speaking, I'm an Artificial Intelligence concentrate with a minor in Finance. I'm interested in entrepreneurship and business development, and hope to one day own my own company. I won't take that plunge for a while, and until then, I mostly see myself working on Wall Street or in startups. I've also toyed with the idea of becoming a lawyer, particularly with respect to securities law or intellectual property. Still, the end goal is to invent a groundbreaking product and form a a company around it. Music is also a huge part of my life. I play guitar and trumpet (or at least used to!) in my spare time, and sing with the MIT/Wellesley Toons as a baritone-bass. Joining/starting a band has been on my list for a long time, but for now, I'm relegated to writing songs and practicing in my room. I also have about 100 million different instruments that I mess around with, much to the delight/annoyance of whoever may be my roommate. My fraternity occupies a good deal of my time since a lot of my best friends are also in Sigma Nu. We're a pretty laid back group of guys, and we definitely don't live up to the 'frat' stereotype. Yeah, we throw awesome parties, but we're also excellent students and, purportedly, good people. More to come...
