I grew up in Ely, a very small, secluded town in northern Minnesota. It's famous for being a gateway to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area, a region of forests and lakes which acts as a tourist magnet. I love the snow and I love skiing. I actually wish I were skiing right now.
God is good and life is good. I feel very lucky to be able to go to school here where everything is so interesting and the people are amazing. Last summer, I interned at Orbital Sciences, which was a great opportunity to experience the real world. I feel like I'm entering the part of my life now where I'm going to be making some of those long-lasting decisions. Exciting!
