Fall Rush 2009

It's the begining of a new school year which means rush is in full swing. Come see what fraternities are all about, find out more about Sigma Nu, and meet the brothers that make our fraternity great. Drop by our events on September 5th - 11th to make some new friends, have a good time, and find out if Sigma Nu is right for you!

Saturday, September 5th 1:00-2:00 pm     House Tour and Red Sox Tickets Raffle Come visit the amazing Sigma Nu house and learn more about its history and uniqueness. Also, enter for a chance to win Boston Red Sox tickets for the game on 9/8! 2:00-4:00 pm     Frisbee on Kresge Oval 2:00-5:00 pm     Pool, Fooseball Tournament This is a classic among rush events. Think you got skill? Come prove it! First place for the pool Tourney gets a Netbook! Other prizes will also be awarded! 5:00-8:00 pm     Steak and Ribs Dinner What better way to celebrate the start of rush with giant slabs of meat? 8:00-10:00 pm     WhiffleBall (in the Ballroom) The Sigma Nu Brothers know how to use their enormous ballroom...for whiffle ball! Sunday, September 6th 9:00-10:00 am     Down Home Breakfast With all the fixins, just like mom used to make. 10:00-3:30 pm     Rock Climbing Come with us as we hit up a local rock climbing venue and show off your awesome rock climbing skills. 12:00-3:30 pm     Lunch and Walking Tours Woke up too late and missed out on going places? Well join a few Sigma Nu brothers as they take a nice walk hitting up all of what Boston has to offer! 3:30-6:00 pm     Nerf Wars It's CTF time in our giant house, come by, although survival might not be guaranteed 6:00-11:00 pm     Night Out in Boston (Vinny T's, Comedy Club) Hit up some classic Italian Food at this local favorite! And after, we will go and see one of Boston's many awesome Comedy Clubs! 6:00-11:00 pm     Mike's Pastries at the House Come back to the house for the best cannoli's you will EVER have. Monday, September 7th 8:00-9:00 am    Down Home Breakfast With all the fixins, just like mom used to make. 9:00-4:00 pm    Paintballing Simple, awesomely fun, paintballing! Bring youre A-game! 4:00-6:00 pm    Nugget Feast Ever wonder what 1,000 Wendy's chicken nuggets looks like? Yeah, so did we 6:00-10:00 pm    Jillian's: Pool and Bowling Jillian's is across the street from Fenway Park, join us for some bowling and check out the Boston night life. 10:00-11:00 pm    Ankara's Run Ankara's Frozen Yogurt is a favorite among Sigma Nu's, we'll show you why! Tuesday, September 8th 3:00-5:00 pm     Dodgeball at the MAC Court The MAC Court is in the Z Center. We will be having an epic dodgeball game going on! See you there. 5:00-7:00 pm     Registration Day Stooping Come by the house as we grill burgers and hot dogs outside in a traditional welcome to the school year! 7:00-9:00 pm     Prudential Skywalk Tour The Prudential Tower is one of the tallest buildings in Boston, and it has an amazing skywalk tour that will give you a glimpse of Boston like no other 9:00-10:00 pm     Slurpee Run This is an underground tradition at Sigma Nu, we bring it above ground for rush! Wednesday, September 9th 9:00-11:00 pm     Poker Tournament Have an awesome poker face? Come show your skill, first places wins a new Ipod shuffle! Thursday, September 10th 6:00-7:30 pm    Dinner by Josh Josh is our chef during the academic year. Come by and see how the Sigma Nu brothers dine every school night. 7:30-10:00 pm    Softball One of Sigma Nu's favorite IM Sports is softball, come play with us! 10:00-11:59 pm    Smoothies and Video Games Epic! Internet Go onto an online map service. Our adress is... 28 Fenway Boston,Ma 02215 MBTA The Number 1 bus runs straight down Massachusetts Ave from MIT to Newbury Street/Hynes Convention Center. From the Hynes stop, we're only a short walk down Boylston. Walk from the Hynes ICA stop on to Boyloston street, then take a right. Our street is the second on your left. For Night Owls: MIT Saferide runs from 6:00 pm to 4:00 am on weekends, so you can always stop by the house at any time. Every half-hour you can hop on Boston East and take it to the second stop, or simply ask for Sigma Nu. Continue walking (away from MIT) and take a right at Boylston St. Our street will be the second on your left. On foot or bike If you'd like to enjoy the weather, our house is an easy and quite pleasant 18 minute walk from campus. Just cross the river on Mass Ave, continue walking and take a right at Boylston St. Our street will be the second on your left.
