FAQs

  • I've filled out my form. When can I expect to hear back from you?
We receive a lot of inquires and unfortunately cannot respond to all of them. If you do not qualify for house, you likely will not be reached. If you do qualify, you should hear from us with a week. Please check your spam folder as some emails from our @mit.edu address has ended up there.

  • Are you close to public transportation?
We are a short walk to Kenmore Station on the MBTA green line and about an 8min walk to the Lansdowne Commuter Rail stop on the Worcester/Framingham Line

  • Is there a gym in the building?
No, we recommend GymIt at 920 Commonwealth Ave. It's about a 20min walk or a short T ride. The monthly costs are very reasonable for students.

  • Do have any responsibilities while living in the house?
Yes, we expect that all tenants will maintain a clean leaving environment. Additionally to keep our cost downs and provide fair rents, each resident will be assigned a weekly chore (eg. taking out the trash, cleaning the shared bathroom, etc). This will help maintain an enjoyable living experience for the summer. Additionally, there will be a house cleaner service.

  • Can I use the kitchen?
Absolutely, we have a commercial kitchen and you're welcome to use it for your food preparation. We only ask that you clean up after yourself out of respect for the other residents.
